Every company has different challenges and different cultures. This is why the mindfulness and meditation training I provide is always bespoke.
Starting with the basic principles of mindfulness and meditation and incorporating some self-hypnosis into the sessions.
Sometimes I find that when people first start to meditate, sitting in silence can be a real challenge. The techniques of self-hypnosis really help with this initial difficulty ensuring my students get the most from their class.
The main difference is that meditation focuses on the breath to help you to become relaxed and hypnosis helps you to focus internally, on a situation that might be bothering you. Whilst still feeling deeply relaxed, it gives you specific strategies that help manage the emotions connected with the situation. It gives you a tool box to maintain or get what you need.
For example, if you are having a very highly stressful time, meditation will be extremely helpful but with the additional use of self-hypnosis techniques you can re-programme your mind to feel calm even at those heightened moments. You can potentially use those stressful moments to drive you forward, motivate you and assist you to feel calm and confident.
